Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate, born 18 August 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She competes in Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was earlier a Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion. Tate was vice-president of ONE Championship. On October 3 2022, 2022, she's 10 in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. A tomboy during her youth she was often socializing with the boys of her community on playgrounds.
